DEADSHOTIO v2.3.0 — START HERE

You need 64-bit Windows, installed Google Chrome, an internet connection, and a valid
DeadshotIO license. Python and Tampermonkey are not required for this package.

FIRST SETUP

1. Right-click the ZIP you received and choose Extract All.
Open the extracted DeadshotIO folder. Run the app from that folder, not from
inside the ZIP. Keep verification-public.pem beside DeadshotIO.exe.

2. Close any older Deadshot product window and its aim-bridge console.
If you installed an older Deadshot userscript in Tampermonkey, disable that
script before using this package so both copies do not run together.

3. Double-click DeadshotIO.exe.

4. Paste your complete license into the License key box and click Activate license.
If you received a license file, click Import license file and select it instead.
Check that the app shows your license as valid.

If your provider asks for your machine ID, click Copy machine ID and send that
copied value to them. They will issue a key for this PC. A key bound to another
   PC will not activate here.

5. Leave Chrome executable blank to use automatic detection. If Chrome cannot be
found, click Browse and select your installed chrome.exe.

6. Click Start game. A separate game Chrome window opens.
Join a match, choose your class if prompted, and spawn.

7. Click inside the game so it captures the mouse. Press Insert or L to open the
product menu. Press the same key again to close it before aiming.

USING THE FEATURES

Insert or L Open or close the menu.
M Turn the player overlay on or off.
B Turn aim on or off.
N Turn snaplines on or off.
Right mouse Hold to aim with the default Hold aim key setting.

The player overlay shows enemies. It excludes teammates and players whose team
cannot be resolved. In free-for-all, other active players count as enemies.

In the menu:

- Player names shows the player's actual name when the client supplies it.
- Health bars shows current health against that player's maximum health.
- No recoil is under Aim and starts off. Enable it if you want to suppress local
firing aim kick. Weapon animation and bullet spread keep their existing behavior.
- Aim at chooses head, neck, body, or the nearest available point to the crosshair.
- FOV radius controls the circle in which aim can select an enemy.
- Smoothing controls the pull: 1 is fastest and 10 is smoothest.
- Activate normally uses Hold aim key. Always enables aim without holding the key
while the game is focused, the mouse is captured, and the menu is closed.
- Aim key lets you choose another key or mouse button. Esc cancels rebinding.

Settings save automatically in this product's Chrome profile. The menu's Save /
load settings section can copy, export, import, or reset them.

Keep the game focused and the mouse captured for aim. Close the menu and click
inside the game again after changing settings. This product uses its own Chrome
profile; it does not use your normal Chrome profile.

STOPPING

Click Stop game in the launcher to stop the product session. Close the launcher
when finished. You can leave your ordinary Chrome windows open.

NEXT TIME

Open DeadshotIO.exe and click Start game. Your activated license and saved menu
settings are kept for your Windows user.

IF SOMETHING DOES NOT WORK

License rejected
Copy the full key again, or import the original license file. Check that your
Windows date and time are correct. An expired key needs renewal. A machine-bound
key needs the PC whose machine ID was used when the key was generated.

Chrome not found
Install Google Chrome, then use Browse to select chrome.exe if automatic
  detection still cannot find it.

No boxes or names
Join and spawn first. Press M to enable the overlay. Open the menu and enable
Boxes and Player names. Unavailable player data is left blank. If a game update
changes the client, ask your provider for an updated product build.

Aim does not move
Press B to enable aim. Close the menu, click inside the game, and hold the aim
key. An enemy must be inside the FOV circle. Keep this game's window focused.
Stop the session and start it again if an older copy was already running.

No recoil is greyed out
The current client recoil binding could not be verified. Ask your provider for
an updated build. Other supported features can still be used.

The app or a file will not open
Extract the whole ZIP first. Keep its customer files together. Do not run the
app from inside the ZIP or mix files from different product versions.

WHERE SETTINGS ARE STORED

License:
  %LOCALAPPDATA%\PrivateSolutions\DeadshotIO\license.key

Product Chrome profile:
  %LOCALAPPDATA%\PrivateSolutions\DeadshotIO\chrome-profile

The game needs an internet connection. License verification is offline. This
version's new names, health, and recoil paths were checked with local regression
tests and cached client sources; they were not verified in a live match.
